Send Password in e-mail

Hello, i working in remake a website, so i must register all ppl that was registered in old site, and let the user approved and confirmed, but i dont knew the old pass, so i generate pass, ramdonly and now i wanna to send a e-mail to ppl with the usermane and pass
but i write

[cb:userfield field="username" /]
[cb:userfield field="password" /]

but its go

username
********

How can i show the password in e-mail, to a confirmed user?
