CB Title, Tabs how to make it longer than 20 digits

I was wandering if it is possible to make the title longer then 20 digits in tabs title.

I am recalling a field in a tab title like this: "Tabtitle of [cb:userdata field="firstname" /]"

But it is way to long for saving and it allows just 20 characters spaces included.
