Due to having been subsjected to massive amounts of spam and cross-advertising, I wanted to forbid people to use certain URLs (notably
www.facebookcom/groups*
). How do I do that?

There's no functionality for that, but have added a feature ticket for CB Activity 4.0.0 to implement it as part of the Parser API (it's what processes @USERNAE, emotes, etc..).
Ideally will have regexp forbidden words usage as well so you'll be able to remove all facebook URLs, etc.. as needed.
