I have created a sub domain and installed the latest Joomla and CB, now I need to move my data from the old to the new.
Can it be as easy as backing up the database on the existing site and importing it into the new site?
On the existing (old version) site I have added many fields to the users profiles, most of the Pro Subscription addons etc... created search lists etc...
Just to complicate matters lol...
What migration code we do have is designed for CB 1.9 to CB 2.x and it's not perfect (can sometimes fail to migrate some parameters). It likely can not migrate CB 1.4 at all, but I guess you can try on a backup. You need to be on Joomla 2.5 or 3.x before you can even migrate to CB 2.x though.
So since Joomla and CB are both out of date you can't make use of any migration tools or our migration installer code. I honestly don't know where to begin other than start from scratch or creating a new Joomla 3.x + CB 2.x install, comparing the data structures, and trying to move the data manually.
