Refresh

There's more than just inline editing available. With the Update On feature you can refresh the display of fields based off another field changing. This is extremely handy for chaining fields together like Country, State, and City and goes great with CB Query Field for truly dynamic fields!

FAQ

Yes, the Additionaly Fields option allows you to include other fields during the inline editing of one field. This is great for keeping similar fields grouped together.

Included is multiple display modes for inline editing to help with this. Specifically the Tooltip and Modal options allow for popping the edited content out into its own window.

This can be a bit tricky at first, but you'll need a database containing your countries, cities, and states you wish to support. Once you have that you can use CB Query Field to query for those countries, states, and cities. Those queries can be dependent on the previous fields (e.g. State filters based off Country). Once you have that setup you can now use the Update On feature to refresh State when Country field changes and now you conveniently have chained fields!

No, only one tab can be inline edited at a given time.

Yes, using an HTML formatted substitution will allow inline editing to work anywhere substitutions are supported. So for example in a CB Content Module or a Joomla article using CB Content Bot.
