A new stable release of CB GroupJive is now available with some great new features. More control over your categories and group features that have been long awaited has arrived! Check out the details below!
You can now control what features groups within a category have. So for example one category could allow groups to have videos while another does not. This better allows you to compartmentalize features based off the intended purpose of a category! Simply edit your categories in the backend administrator interface and toggle features as needed from the Integrations tab.
Access controls for group tabs has now been implemented. Originally group feature access was meant to be strictly based off group type and group user permission, but we've had a lot of requests to be able to control access using Joomla view access levels. This is now possible. For every group tab! That includes Users and Invites!
For integrations you'll need to edit the integration plugin itself and you'll find its access parameter within each integration plugins parameters.
We've also had requests for no-logo categories or group sites. These sites would use categories for example just as simple categorization and didn't need all the visuals. This is now possible by simply toggling off the logo or canvas image for categories or even groups.
Next up is Events. Not all events require attendance. So it was strange having users mark attendance for an event that's just meant to notify you of something up and coming. Now you can simply turn off attendance per-event and by worry free!
Last, but not least you can now manually control the order of tabs within a group. This supports all known tabs. Including Users, Invites, Activity and more. Simply supply an integer list order within CB GroupJives configuration and you're done.
