[SOLVED] Specify a Payment Gateway for a Plan was created by mike5151
Hello

Is it possible to specify a specific payment gateway for a specific plan?

The use case I have is that one of our clients has several different member interest groups in the same club. All have different PayPal and bank accounts. What I would like to do is assign 'Plan A' to PayPal account A and 'Plan B' to PayPal account B.

is that possible?

Yup, using the "Owner ID" parameter. Edit your payment gateway and scroll all the way to the bottom. Now set "Owner id" to "2". Next edit your plan and navigate to the "Pricing" tab then scroll all the way down and also set "Owner id" to "2". Your plan should only show that payment gateway and your payment gateway only be available on that plan.

Moving that onto the next level - is it possible to assign more than one gateway to a plan?

Use case here is that the client would like to insist on recurring payments for monthly plans but is happy to accept BACS or other offline payments for annual plans.

If I allocate 'Owner IDs' to gateways then it appears i can only allocate one of those gateways to a plan and not 2?

Is there a way round that?

No, not right now as that feature is still experimental. I imagine once it's done we'll probably just have a multi-select dropdown to make selection easier. For now you'll just need to duplicate your gateway in CBSubs if you need it specifically assigned to more than 1 plan.
