PMS MyPMS and Pro

I thought I had to download mypms. I did and tried to install it. After trying, it said it was already downloaded and installed.

It is listed as a plugin for CB.

It is listed as "PMS MyPMS and Pro"

It is published.

I've been trying to get it to show up on my site with no luck.

Can someone point me in the right direction.

What are you trying to do ?

Display a quick message tab ? (publish that too, just like the plugin)

Or install mypms ? (then install the component and do the above:))

I don't think I even know what to ask because I am such a noob.

I'm going to concentrate on reading and experimenting more.

When I try to install it I get....
Another component is already using directory: "/home/scarlets/public_html/andy/components/com_pms/"

I don't see it under the components drop down menu. Is that because it's a plugin.

It is listed under CB/plugins.

CB says it is published.

Maybe I need to learn more basic stuff first.

What I want though is what I am looking at right now on Joomlapolis un the upper left corner.

It says CB login 1.0 RC2 with my picture and a link that says "you have no new private messages"

Dont you remember installing the component mypms?
Maybe you experimented and uninstalled but some files are somehow left, coz the directory clearly exists.

I would show that site who's boss and access it by FTP and then delete directory /components/com_pms and also /administrator/components/com_pms by hand.. then install again

I'll check that out. I am learning alot about how to get tabs in places where I didn't think they were going to go. When was the last time anybody read the directions first?
