Two new user emails - two different passwords

How do I turn off the default Joomla new user email? When I add a new user through CB User Manager, it works fine but the new user receives two emails. One is the default Joomla new user email with one password and the other is the CB new user email with a different password. How do I fix this?

Using Joomla 1.6.

I should add that I have walked through the settings and all is set according to the instructions. The Joomla login module is unpublished. The CB login module is published. The configuration is set to Yes (using CB) and disabled in the Joomla User Manager configurations.

I should also add that this is not my first installation of CB but I haven't run across this issue before. I sure would appreciate any help with this.

I've the same problem and i read there is still no solution!

If i make a new user account then i get an email from default joomla and one by community builder. Both with own passwords.

How i can fix this to get only of CB the emails with userdata and password?

I am assuming this only happens in backend CB User manager user creation.

Thanx for reply. Sorry that i didn't tell that.

Frontend is registration disabled. I make for all of the volunteers of our organisation the accounts backend with automatic generate passwords. That's why they get an email.
Only joomla is sending now also an email with different password.

I'm building a new site (joomla 1.7.3 with CB 1.7.1) that will be come online at new years day. The current site where is joomla 1.5.22 with CB 1.3.1 i build begin of this year never gives problems.

So i think its a problem or with the new joomla or with the new version of CB?
