Possible To Make 'Company Name' As Profile Name?

We run an app store website. The First Name/Last Nam comes up as the Profile Name. As the profile belongs to company, the actual person's name should NOT be the name of the profile. For example, a profile called 'John Doe' belonging to a company called "JD Apps LLC" appears as "John Doe". We would like them to be called "JD Apps LLC" and come up as such in profile displays.

Your Joomla administration area:

Find the Community Builder menu in your Components menu and select Configuration (that's the last item in the drop-down).

Then configure the second parameter in the General tab called Name format.

I assume you want this to be set to Username.

No no. I want this to be COMPANY NAME. That option is not in Name Format. I did check.

Assuming you have a cb field created for the company name (e.g., cb_company), then you need to edit your CB User Profile Page tab (find it in your CB Tab manager) and edit the User Profile Title text: parameter (see right column) to show [cb_company]
