Installing cb on Mambo was created by curtisd
I hope some one has a solution.

I have read the install guide as well as the read me for new install following the instructions as they are written. After try to install many time on different servers it always come out exactly the same, a screen full of errors and a partial install.

Does CB really work on Mambo?

My version of Mambo is 4.6.5

My Mambo testing was successful.

Exactly what errors are you getting when you are installing exactly what?

The server has the following configuration.
php 5.2.17
sql 5.1.58
apache 2.2.17

Does CB require php 5.x.xx? Some of the servers that I tried had php 5.x.xx but had to set the environment to php 4.x.xx to get Mambo to run. This server has the appearance of having php 5.x.xx unless they have modified the install for it to use php 4.x.xx.

I did what your new install readme says to delete the xml files ending in g & J, well that was my interpretation of the readme.

I loaded the comprofiler.zip file to Mambo default folder as stated in the install / universal opeion (the third item)

Using the host server I unziped the file, then went to the Mambo administrator area and executed the install.

This time it was the first time it got to the point that it said it had completed.
Even tho after it finished the first phase correctly when it was doing the second phase it generated all kinds of messages in red as it has done in other install attempts.

The red errors cleared from the screen before I could do an screen capture, the next screen it displayed I have never seen before as it never made it this far in the past, I have copied the text from the screen and attached it here.
