Community Builder does not work on joomla 2.5

I have tried CB on my local machine and followed all instruction and it just does not work. I followed the PDF installation instructions and it didn't work so I watched the video to see if I missed something, I didn't! When I try to login or register a new user on the front end of my site all I get is object not found, the same applies when I click forgot login or my profile! I am using Joomla 2.5

Here is the thing.

I have no issues with CB 1.8 (that's the version I am using - I have no idea what you are using, since you did not give this info) on a Joomla 2.5.2 website.

Also, you really need to give much more information if you really want help.

For example, logical questions I have are:

What version of CB?
Did you install it ok and get successful install feedback?

When you say "it didn't work". what am I suppose to assume?
What didn't work?

Did you try with SEF off and the default Joomla template?

Did you read our FAQ articles?

I am using the latest version of CB, I downloaded it last night and the latest version of joomla 2.5.
All installed correctly and as you will see from my previous post login, register, forgot login don't return any pages. All I get is object not found.

Did you try with SEF off and the default Joomla template?

Thanks, I just tried SEF off with my own template and it works. Is there a way around turning SEF off, if I want it on?

SEF on works just fine for me here with htaccess renaming.

Once again I do not know what your settings are - I had to guess you had SEF on to begin with ...
