Installation: Internal Error (500)

Installation: Internal Error (500) was created by motermouth
I'm attempting to install the CB component onto my Joomla 1.5x. I downloaded the CB zipped folder today, and unzipped it to find the 4 parts of it to install. When I install the main component, I get the "Internal Server Error (500)"

I read somewhere that it sometimes has to do with your PHP max upload. I have changed my max upload to 5mb (instead of the usual 2m).

Any Ideas?

please read our FAQ.

Please look for real error in your server error log.

The FAQs was the first thing I looked into, after following the installation guide to a T.

I just checked my error logs and there is nothing in it at all.

If you would have stated that you read the FAQ, then I would not ask you to read it ofc course.

A 500 error should leave a message in your server error log.

Please post version numbers also.

I'm so sorry to keep bothering you.. My log folder is completely empty except for an "index.html" file that has no content. I checked my global settings and all, but everything seems to be fine (including my system logs folder path).

Ask your host to help you with your server error log.

It cannot be empty.
