private access and content

Please? Could you help me ? I've got a website under joomla 1.5.22 with a CB 1.22.

I've got already a group of users registered.

I 've been asked to develop an access for an another group of users totally different from the existing one, with private access and a private content (articles, classified ads) which will only be read by this new group . But a part of this content coming from this community could be sometimes public (to registered or simply visitors) .
Is that possible ? If yes, how to ? Tell me how much it 'll cost (new group will gather 50 about people).

First thing is to upgrade CB to latest CB 1.8

Once you upgrade to latest CB 1.8, you should look into CBSubs as it can do what you want.

So , once updated, i'll have to use for my need in cbsubs :

• ACL content access control included : for users credentials (access rights)
• Control profile content appearance via owner and subscriber plan : according plan, subscribers will have a dedicated template

i precise that all the content will be free.

I am not sure what you are asking.

With CBSubs you can protect any Joomla content and require an active subscription for viewing.

Thus you can configure it to require a subscription to see for example all articles on a given Joomla category.

You can also configure which CB fields or Tabs should appear for which subscriber levels.
