With one of my Russian users the error message in this thread subject gets displayed in a small popup window on CB 1.8.1 when asking for a connection from within someone's profile (awaiting for him to provide his Joomla version in our Russian forum)

I need a screenshot of the message and the URL that leads to this message.

I'm getting the same.

You'll need a login to test the connections though, the error is happening at make a connection popup.
But I think it's only on IE 10 or 11, Chrome, Safari, Firefox is working fine.

Probably due to one of the below bugs. This won't be an issue in CB 1.10 release as a new tooltip api has been implemented instead of overlib usage.

I made two changes and I still have the same problem ...
It works with IE10 and not with IE11
