Mambots in CB was created by ysva
I've got great mambots like JoGadgets and YouTubeVideo and I'd like them to be available in CB profiles too!

I've been looking my ass off for something that allows me to include mambots in components like Community Builder, because I know it's possible to add mambots in components, but it has to be done manually, and I don't know how to do that.

Any suggestions?

The only component that I've seen in my travels that allowed for the deliberate inclusion of mambots within parts of the component is Bookmarks ( www.tegdesign.ch ). There are a few lines in the codebase that should point you in that direction.

CB plugins however do share the same (actually, more) kinds of event triggers that are capable of doing things that mambots do, like replace {jogadget}Whatever{/jogadget} with that flash player or video you'd like to include in content.

IMO, the best way is to wrap those "replacer" methods into a plugin that can be installed by CB rather than a mambot. Remember, content mambots for the most part work exclusively within the context of Joomla's content component (com_content)

YES IT DIT! :woohoo:
I found a way to process mambots in CB! (about 30 secs. ago)
I'll do some general testing before publishing. It was quite easy actually, thanks to the "hard-coded" (quote from Greg Perkins, the one who enabled mambots in virtuemart. the last time I said something like hardcoded I almost got killed) template of CB, which allowed some more hard-codin'
