Welcome to Joomlapolis! was created by yatesf
This thread discusses the Content article: Welcome to Joomlapolis!

I love the website name and actually think it was the best choice of all the potentials (even those domains already taken).

I have a question about the PM System being used here at Joomlapolis. Which one is it? Doesn't look like MyPMS II Pro. What were the main tradeoffs for the choice in this PMS over the one used at MamboJoe?

Hi Fred!

Welcome to Joomlapolis!
The PMS system in use for intra-Joomlapolis communication is a modified version of the MyPMS OS version. It was given to me by Trail (so at this point I can't give you a URL) but it has (at this time) some hardcoded German language messages (see the setup icon section). First of all its free - the mambojoe PMS is the paid version. It definetely has advantages over the initial free version. What do you think?

Yeah, it looks pretty nice. Trail did a good job modding it.

I'm still deciding whether I should just wait on the next PMS pro or go with a free solution.

Ha! I'm psyched to be here! B) The site name is great, and appears quite nant inspired.

Nothing like finding out on a Monday afternoon that RC2's release date is on my birthday! Looking forward to checking it out, and congratulations on the new site's launch.
