Hi,

I have installed CB1.8 according to the installation guide provided in the zip file.
I can no longer log in, neither in the front end nor the back end.
Also registration does not work: "You are not authorized to view this page! You need to log in."

I was using ExtendedReg before, but I did uninstall first - as said in the installation guide.

Need your urgent help.

you did something wrong - there is no way CB can cause your backend login to fail.

I'm sure I did… but have no clue what
After installation CB1.8 I deactivated ExtendedReg and changed the Log in form and the Registration form to those of CB. That's all. With this horrible impact.

I think it is rather weird that this can happen. Any advise how to resolve?
Thanks for the quick reply.

You must have disabled the Joomla Authentication plugin.
If so you will need to manually find it in the joomla extensions table and enable it your phpmyadmin.

It does't look like it is disabled: (exported the extensions db to Excel)

Any further suggestion to resolve?

Would really help if i knew what you did wrong ...

Next suggestion: look at System Joomla User plugin.

Please note: Nowhere in CB Installation documentation or readme files does it state to touch any Joomla plugins.
