Registration without EMail Adress

Hi there,

I want to allow new users the registration without email adres. In CB I found the following line:

If "yes", users cannot share the same email address. This is a CMS global setting for the site, or a CMS feature. CB adapts automatically to this setting/feature.

Can anybody tell me where in Joomla 1.7 I can change these setting?
I search the whole day but I cant find something in the backend to change this.

Nope - that setting is for Joomla 1.0.

So can you tell me if it is possible to register multiple users under one email adress. (changes in database/css or something like that?)

That would require major hacking in Joomla - sorry have no idea how this can be done.

But is it possible to turn of the email checker in CB so that it is possible to insert any email adress I want?

you can insert any email address you want as long as the email validates and is not already used.

No way to turns these basic validations off.
