CBSubs frontend administration was created by houfton
Is there any way for backend-phobic people to perform CBSubs administration tasks from the frontend? Specifically I am thinking about setting Pending subscriptions to Paid.

I have looked through the various database changes involved - the subscription ones are carefully recorded in the History Logs section (nice job!) - and, before I attempt to create my own frontend facility, I wonder if anyone else has done it before?

The CB Workflows Module allows frontend approval of users. Can it be made to work for Pending subscriptions?

Trying not to over-complicate things, I have created a page to list all Pending subscriptions with links to the user's profile where an administrator can click on the Subscriptions tab and click the Pay Now button.

The trouble is I just the dreaded a "Not authorized action." message.

Is it actually not possible to do this from the frontend or is it something wrong with my settings?

(Apologies for cross-posting, I put this in a reply to another poster who was having a similar problem with an earlier version of CBSubs.)

Joomla! 1.5, CB1.7, CBSubs 1.2.2

As of CBSubs 1.2.2 admins via configuration parameter can see the subscription tab on frontend but currently the links and buttons are not yet functional. It's purely for visual reference at this point. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Sorry, we've basically been working around the clock for past 2 years on CB and CBSubs alike. It's a long and tiring process. We're trying to resolve and implement as much as possible, but due to time limitations not everything can be completed as soon as we'd like. This feature will absolutely be extended further with a future release, but for now it's just for visual reference.
