Interger field rounding. Need to keep as is. was created by rklein
I have some data fields that are integers fields. When I input the numbers with decimals... like 4.87 it rounds it to 5 when saved. I need it to keep decimals and commas. How do I do this?

Integer fields will always round to a solid integer. For something more customized you should use a text field with custom regular expression for the validation to force a specific format.

Last update was in 2009 and was designed for CB 1.2, as we're on CB 1.7 I would suggest testing very thoroughly before pushing to production use.

To be honest, I haven't used the decimal field since I build it for this site so I don't know its technical status on the latest version of CB. I don't know why it would have stopped working but it could have. I don't have much time at the moment but do plan to test/upgrade all plugin on CB/J 1.7 at some point.
