"Edit Details" Not Visible in Profile

Hi,

Setup is Joomla! 1.7, latest versions of CB & of CBSubs.

For some reason "Edit Details" is not visible in Profile.
I have "Allow user to edit his CMS parameters in frontend" set to "Yes" in the configuartion. I've had to add the "Edit Details" to the User Menu, but would prefer for it to show the default way.

Also, when a user does edit their details, is there any way for certain tabs not to appear when in edit mode? I have a Tab that contains a delimiter field that I do not want visible when editing.

Edit details is traditionally the Joomla profile link that needs to be disabled and replaced by CB profile menu item

Please make sure you have followed installation steps included in CB 1.7.1 package.

Thanks for replying - it looks like I wasn't clear enough.
What I meant is that the "Update your Profile" & "Update your Image" isn't showing up in the profile area. I get that the Joomla profile needs to be disabled.


Also, still need to know if there is any way for certain tabs not to appear when in edit mode? I have a Tab that contains a delimiter field that I do not want visible when editing.

Please check that CB Menu plugin in CB > Plugin Management and CB > Tab Management is enabled.

You'll need CB Privacy. Once installed edit the field in CB > Field Management and set it to not display in profile edit.

The CB Privacy plugin was just the ticket - thanks!

But as to the Update options, CB Menu plugin is enabled in both Plugin & Tab Managements (as you can see in the screen grab, user statistics are visible).
Can't figure out why it's not showing up in the profile area?
