[SOLVED] New users blocked was created by abarron
My site has been working for a while. Have over 1000 users. Now all of a sudden when a new user registers, they are blocked. The funny thing is even when I unblock them, the go to login and the system blocks them again.

What is going on? Is there a limit that we've hit?

you must have changed something somewhere.

see if you have configured CBSubs to require a subscription for all members (Settings icon area -> Global settings tab -> Registration settings frame.

Actually, CBSubs is not even published right now. Any other ideas?

Good point - I should have asked you for what is installed and what versions.

Joomla! 1.5.25 Stable (just recently installed patches from 1.5.23-1.5.25)
Currently using Mighty Membership to restrict content (but shouldn't be affecting membership process)

If things were working and suddenly stopped, then something you have added or changed is the casue. CB does not just stop working.

Please retrace what you did. I have no idea how Mighty Membership works - you need to investigate this with them (see if they have some explanation).

I see that you have CB 1.4 and need to upgrade to CB 1.7.1, but that should not have anything to do with this issue.

I suspect that MM has something to do with this.
