Package Installer issues - not complete !?

just tried the new package installer feature on J!1.5.26. I tried different complex packages, and it always ends in an incomplete installation process. Though messages state that it was finished.

- After some loading time, it opens a new window ?! Where the typical CB component install message shows up.
- The previous browser window, where I actually started the upload, shows this:



- this screen shows up forever. The cursor is still spinning.
- I tried it serveral times, with the same result.

It won't continue until the new window that pops up finishes loading. Just install it and sit back until it's done. What browser are you using?

I did sit back for a very long time

The "new" window was finished. It had the usual CB installer infos and notices. Nothing more happens in this window.

The first "underlying" window is the screenshot in my previous message.

(Safari, Chrome... webkit based)

Please review browser error log during the install attempt to see if there are any fatal errors present. Any fatal JS errors present can cause the process to fail.

I tested two different installs with the same CB All-in-One Package (incl. all PRO addons for J1.5). Same server!

- different J1.5.26 directory with older existing CB core installation. Package installer went smooth, No hickups, no waiting.

- On my previous "hanging" installation, I installed CB and PRO addons manually. Today I started the package installer again and it had partly success. ... but all GROUPJIVE plugins seemed to fail (see screenshots). There are no errors in browser console.

This is probably due to not a big enough delay between installing plugins. Does a second attempt to install allow the GJ plugins to install successfully?
