import field value PHP admin was created by dimitri9
Dear all,

Im trying to import 500 field values into community builder.

I have found this www.joomlapolis.com/news/10208?task=view

69;Afghanistan;1
69;Aland;2
69;Albania;3
69;Algeria;4

So;
69 = to call the field
; Afghanistan (the field value)
1 order by number.

They say: import as .txt value; But there is no way to import a txt in phpadmin.

In my case I want to import places....

Whatever I try, CSV etc It doesn't go ...

I looks like this:

69;Afghanistan;1

Is this ok ? Or do I miss any settings in PHP admin during import ?

Any suggestion to do this ?

Many thanks,
Dimitri

Article instructions still look valid.

Please read article again.
The 69 in the article needs to be replaced by your fieldid value - I doubt that yours is also 69.

What do you mean by "it doesn't go"?

For format during import you should select CSV and make sure that the delimiter is ; to match your file.

Hi Nick,

(What do you mean by "it doesn't go"? -> I mean doesn't import.)

Make sure that the delimiter is ; to match your file.
I don't get that ... So mad a screen shot.

During import I get this error " Invalid column count in CSV input on line 1. "

Thanks again, Dimitri

Look at what you posted.

Your text file is using ; (semi colon) as a delimiter

But you have specified COlumns separated with , (comma)

Are you using .csv or .txt link in the example.

Best, Dimitri
