Can CB 2.0 do this?

Will CB2.0 have a feature like Facebook time line with posts? I mean a system where users can post text, Links, images, videos, like facebook, also the ability to republish items or "like" them.

A "Wall", possibly. We've discussed that we're not going to go leaps and bounds with CB 2.0 (while CB 3.0 will be a complete rewrite). Plan is to take our best plugins, clean them up, move them to CB core to replace existing (existing forums, article, and blog plugins be replaced with CB Forums, CB Articles, and CB Blogs for example). There's a lot more on this list, but I wouldn't expect it to have every feature. This is actually a feature I'd like to add to CB Activity it self though (be able to have users create custom activity, it has the capability to do this).

Will CB 3.0 be released into J!3.x series?

I can't even remotely provide a timeframe for CB 3.0, it won't be until next year. CB 2.0 will or should be released before end of this year (we hope, but that window seams to be closing more and more with what we want to do). A complete rewrite with CB 2.0 would be out of the question as it'd delay CB 2.0 for a very long time (something I'm sure many prefer not to wait for); so it's going to be the best I can put it a "partial-rewrite". Many plugins like CB Connect, etc.. would be moved to core CB 2.0, etc..

Ok, can you tell me if ciy, state and country system (like in CBSubs) will be implemented in CB 2.0?

Also, if yes, how will I migrate my existing city, state, country text fields to match them with the new system?
