Looks like a Joomla access permission error for a Joomla menu link. Ensure you have a public and published Joomla menu link to CB profile (this is mandatory). Alternatively check what the Itemid is in your link to ensure it has the Itemid of the public and published CB menu link.

What is the original message before being translated to German (the message in English) so we can trace to where exactly it's coming from then be able to see what's going on.

I've no idea, you need to find out where that message is defined. If it's in CB or CBSubs then find what English string it is (e.g. 'ENGLISH' => 'GERMAN'); as CB is always and only English unless a language plugin is used it's something you've changed or installed so I can't tell you where it's coming from. If it's a Joomla language string you need to find what ini file and what its original string is as this'll give basically what component it's coming from and allow me to do a source search to find what's triggering its output.
