I just tried to install from CB Packager onto a working 2.5.8 site and all of the bits fail.

Help.

Thanks in advance!

Check folder permissions of administrator and administrator/components as it unpacks and installs from its admin component folder of com_packageinstaller. It'll need read/write access to that location.

I just checked and they have 755 - I use Admin Tools to reset permissions. Any other thoughts?

You may need to try 775 or even 777 (hopefully not). Something is interrupting the installation process; try installing the plugins included in the package manually.

Got PM - thanks.

I did try to install and got the same messages as you did.

I then installed just the CB component and was able to do so without issues.

I then noticed that everything else from the CB Quickstart PRO 1.3 attempt was also installed and configured even though the initial message stated failure.

I also see alot of other CB plugins (not part of the CB Quickstart PRO package) installed and grayed out. Did you try installing things also?

Looks like perhaps you had CB installed and did an uninstall?

Please give more details on what actions you did as I cannot understand what I am seeing.
