[SOLVED] CB Gallery image upload was created by delea
Have read everything I can on this issue here in the forum and instructions. I have a new install of everything - Joomla 2.5.8, CB 1.9, CB Gallery 1.2.2, CB Conditional 1.8.11. It's all there, it's beautiful, but it rejects every attempt to upload an image with the error message that the file exceeds the maximum size of 2000 kilobytes. I have left the field parameters blank, and CB config parameters state the 2000 kilobytes.

The image I have been trying to test upload is only 9.36 kb. I have no issues uploading the avatar image in CB or any other images on this ads site. Where else can I check to resolve this issue?

Please enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then attempt to upload and provide any on-screen errors presented to you (do not provide logs at bottom of page, just need errors).

The debug mode and max error reporting displayed nothing. Only the typical popup stating "the file exceeds the maximum size of 20000 kilobytes" (Yes, I bumped it to see what would happen - doesn't matter)

I have set this up using CB Conditional to show only when another field is checked (1)- this part is working.

I had said previously that the profile image uploaded ok, but actually I was mistaken. It won't upload a profile image in the "Update Your Profile" link - but it does in the "Update Your Image" link. So, this issue is happening in the "Update Your Profile" link only.

Image upload and profile edit upload use the exact same functions so it shouldn't matter. Sounds like something is intercepting the post and interrupting the process. Disable non-core CB plugins 1 by 1 until resolved. If not resolve repeat the same for non-core Joomla system plugins. This will help find any conflicts. If issue still present review your PHP information within Joomla system information page and ensure you've the proper upload limits set to allow file uploads the filesize you're attempting to upload.

OK - disabled non-core CB plugins 1 by 1 - nothing changed.
disabled non-core Joomla plugins 1 by 1 - nothing changed.
PHP version is 5.3.8 - upload set at 128M

Strange, please provide backend super administrator login credentials as well as FTP credentials and will take a look.
