I set up a search (see attached images)
I set the field company, city and interests to be searchable (see image)
I then created a list By city. (see the attached screenshot) and created the columns and the column list items as to what I believe would show up.

My goal is to have user to be able to search by City, and by interests (which I will change to Business Type in the future (example...auto parts, farming, grocery, etc.)

So instead of it being friendly to searching users. I want it friendly to be able to searching for business and everything related to businesses.

So my problem....after setting the search up I cant get company, city, and interests to show in the search columns.

Search parameter just means the field can be searched. It doesn't control its visibility in a userlist. Navigate to the users profile. If you can see the field on their profile then you should also be able to see it on a userlist. Field access is determined by Tab access so if it's on a tab set to Registered and you're searching while not logged in then you won't see the fields value.

Please see the image attached. I also added "City" to tab section but I am unsure of the connection there. It did not show on any tabs. The "city" text in the other image attached is what I added in the list, not in tab.

Just for side note I ALSO added tab "city" as seen attached.

Ensure the field is set to display on profile, whether one or two lines. If it's not set to display on profile it won't be visible.
