[SOLVED] HELP. site crashed was created by pamlong
www.learnakashicrecords.com
joomla 2.5.9

I tried to submit a ticket on this however it requires joomla debugging to be on and I can't get into the joomla admin.

Here is history:
I installed CB Quickstart Pro 1.5 and having problems.

After the install, not all of the pages would display in (see ticket opend in CB Subs forum)

I was submitting a support ticket requesting pricing for consulting help. I changed Debug to Yes and got this error: 500 - An error has occurred.

JDatabaseMySQL::query: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE `g`.`group_id` = '8' AND `u`.`block` = '0' AND `u`.`sendEmail` = '1'' at line 4 SQL=SELECT `u`.`id`,`u`.`email` FROM `arci_user_usergroup_map` INNER JOIN `arci_users` AS `u` ON(`g`.`user_id` = `u`.`id` WHERE `g`.`group_id` = '8' AND `u`.`block` = '0' AND `u`.`sendEmail` = '1'

11 JError::raise() <span>/</span>home<span>/</span>arci/public_html/libraries/joomla/error/error.php:251

At this time, the site stopped working and I am unable to get back into the Joomla admin.

Not even sure where to look for this problem. Site was working until I installed the CB package and then was unable to open some of the pages (when I posted forum ticket).

Looks like it's a problem with Akeeba Backup Check (akeebaupdatecheck). At least that's where the error is coming from. Quick way to confirm is navigate to plugins/system/ via FTP and rename "akeebaupdatecheck" to "akeebaupdatecheck-DISABLE" then see if you can get back into your site.

Kyle, thank you!
I did as you suggested and am now back in the Admin panel.
I can access the homepage of the website, but none of the other pages. you can see at:
learnakashicrecords.com and navigate to any other page.

I have dedug set to yes
Error reporting set to Maximum.

What do I do now to get my other pages to display.

Check server error logs when a blank page occurs and see what error is logged. This appears to be due to Akeeba, I've no idea why though, so you may want to post the above findings to their forums as they may have a better idea of what is happening (bad backup?). I can try taking a look if you PM backend super administrator login credentials and FTP login credentials.

I'm looking at the error logs in Cpanel and don't see anything from the recent tests where pages do not display.

I"m going to move this into a support ticket where I can enter my credentials.

There's no need to move to a support ticket. Just PM the credentials to me and will take a look.
