GJ frontend is completely template based so you're welcome to edit it and change its display to whatever pleases you. You'll find GJs template files at the below location.

components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/templates/

If you're meaning to have a menu link to that specific page then you can generate internal Joomla menu links to GJ within CB > Plugin Management > CB GroupJive > Menus.

You edit them in an IDE (Netbeans, PHPStorm, Eclipse, etc..); each template file is named in relation to its location (e.g. group_edit.php refers to the Group Edit/Create display). They're mixed PHP/HTML. Please see my above reply as have edited it to include instructions for creating menu links if that was what you were asking.

what are these...third party software or joomla add ons

theres no way to just switch the template...no mechanism built in to simply switch it?

...you said theres more than one template...why would i need to edit them...

as well...instead of showing...add catergories....how can i get it to be a just create group deal and remove the catergorie aspect
