Just finished setting up a promotion to prorate memberships to match our fiscal year... now after choosing my plan and entering all my user information during registration, clicking submit gives me an error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getPlanVarName() on a non-object in cbsubs.promotion.php on line 881


Any idea what's gone wrong? Some notes that might be helpful...
  • I can see the user was created in the User Manager
  • There is a line in the CBSubs "Basket" indicating the status as "not initiated"
  • I didn't receive an email verification / account activation email.

Krileon, should you be the one to respond, the admin credentials I PM'd you regarding another thread are still the same. :silly:

Bump? I don't have any modifications or custom code... This seems to be an error in the plugin...

It looks like the promotion is trying to check for a plan that doesn't exist. Was the promotion configured for a plan and then that plan deleted? Please try re-editing your Promotion and re-selecting your plans it applies to (if feature used) then re-save and see if issue persists after cancelling your basket and beginning a new purchase.

The promotion applies to all plans... no plans were deleted at any point. I resaved after reviewing everything... didn't seem to have any effect, the issue persists. :dry:

None of your plans have aliases. Alias is required now. Please edit all your plans and give them an alias. Once done please re-test and see if issue persists.
