[SOLVED] Quicktime Plugin? was created by rustle44
HI Guys
I keep running into an issue when I try to view another profile on my site (not my own)
this usually happens when viewing the profile from the user list or Jomwall - running also

The site requests that I install a quicktime plugin to view the page
and the page load takes for ever
the strange thing id there is no multi media on any of the profile poages/tabs
can somebody help me with this issue

Do you have any video embeds on your site? This is likely your issue. You may have a video embed somewhere, which will typically require quicktime browser plugin if it's a quicktime video. Suggest using Chrome or Firebug for Firefox and pressing F12 on a page that does it and see if there's media embedded somewhere.

thank you for the quick reply
this does not seem to be the issue as I am experiencing this on another site as well
the issue only arises when a user goes to the following link (either from the user list or jomwall)
url.com/cms/my-profile/userprofile/username

I believe that with my profession subscription I am able to get 1 support ticket... would this issue be covered under that plan?
I am totally confused on this one

Have reviewed your install and your issue is due to your 3rd party "Messages" tab. It appears to be linked to a plugin called "Wall", which doesn't seam to exist within CB at all so not sure where it's coming from. At any rate have disabled the tab and confirmed your issue is resolved. Please also confirm is working fine for you now. You'll need to find the author of the plugin/extension that created the tab for further support regarding it.
