Not currently, but with CB 1.9.1 (next release) you'll be able to enable HTML in the Pending and Welcome emails. Alternative is to replace the Welcome email with CB Auto Actions email action, but that can get a bit tricky depending on if email confirmation or admin approval is enabled.

Pushed to end of October. So far am on track, but I'll know more when I get close to the goal. Please understand folks this is not a release date. We do not have or use release dates. Release dates force us into a deadline that we may not be able to meet and arbitrarily cause bad standards and corner cutting to meet deadlines. The end of October is simply an internal goal. If I change the goal you'll be able to see the change on our roadmap below.
Please also note when it does release it will be released in tiered versions. Beta will be released to Developer subscribers. RC will be released to Advanced/Professional subscribers. Stable will be released publicly. Each release will probably have a week or more between them depending on what issues are found.
