With CB Cond 3.0.10 published - Frontend Profile changes are not saved on fields on a Tab with a simple condition - triple-checked(!). No error displayed neither in Plugin Settings nor through J Debug...

Backend field updates are being saved.

Replaced Tab Conditional with Conditional Rules on Fields and now get Internal server error upon frontend profile update. Conditionals are only defined for like 8 fields - should not be too much, right?

No specific error messages whatsoever...

There's a bug with Custom Value field conditionals. It causes a fatal JS error causing JS conditionals to not work, but the PHP side of things will when you save profile. Any fields conditionally hidden will not save values. Please see the below bug ticket where a quickfix has been provided.

forge.joomlapolis.com/issues/4197

The only conditional that can break CB Conditionals is if you try to condition CB Progress Field at registration or profile edit. You can only condition such a field at profile view and userlist view.

Thanks a lot! Applied the fix anyways - now on line 880 of current version of cbconditional.class.php, BTW

My bad with the condition on edit of a progress field - ran into this again :(

Now fixed - THANKS !

The fields (single-select dropdown) are visible and editable for a user - just hidden for other user category. Still, changes from frontend are NOT being saved...

(No errors messages. Message "all changes saved" is shown. Profile Logger does NOT perceive edit and is silent.)

Does the field condition fine using jQuery? As in does it dynamically show/hide as needed in profile edit? If not then the jQuery is failing, but the PHP side of it won't. Check browser error log by pressing F12 in Chrome or with Firefox with Firebug and review the console for any fatal errors.
