German lang for 1.9 was created by carin
I cant find the German language for 1.9, I only see 1.8 which is quite incomplete if used for 1.9.

Cheers

We don't maintain language plugins. We only provide English. All others are community maintained so if the author stops working on it there's nothing we can do. You can find 3rd party CB language plugins below.

forge.joomlapolis.com/projects/lan-cb

We also have a transifix, which you can find below.

www.transifex.com/projects/p/cb/

The German files on transifix appear to be up to date.

Thanks, but both lang sources are meant for CB 1.8, as I said in my first post. They are more than one year old.

IMHO those who paid for the component should be supported with language files, at least for the 10 most common langs in the Joomlaverse.

The German translation on transifex is 100% and last changed in December. So it's up to date.

www.transifex.com/projects/p/cb/language/de_DE/

All our translations are community driven. So if you speak, read, and write the language it shouldn't be problematic to translate whatever strings remain and contribute it back to the community. We setup transifex specifically to provide such a collaborated experience. When a language is 100% it's completely translated and up to date.

This is the translation for 1.8 but I need 1.9 which is the current version of CB.

If it really is up to date then why do I have language mixed labels while I did not change anything after installing the quick install package?

GJ is not a part of CBs core so Transifex for CB has nothing to do with GJ or any of the other incubator projects. GJ has its own language plugins found below.

forge.joomlapolis.com/projects/lan-gj

It also has its own Transifex found below.

www.transifex.com/projects/p/CB-GJ/
