onAfterUserApproval fires twice was created by socialfan
I have two different user groups that I want to deliver two different welcome messages to.
Dividing it with the ACL group doesnt work so I try useing a condition based on field value (radio button didnt work so far. d i need to give field value in ""?).

leaving everything appart the delivery works (without ACL or condition) however emails are always sent twice. I gues the trigger is called two times at this stage?

Any idea how to set up my case correctly?

Thank you : )

Kind regards

It fires for every user row approved. Var1 is the user object that's being approved. Are you trying to stop the email from sending so you can send your own? Please be more specific what you're trying to accomplish.

I have two (2) usergroups an I want each user group to receive a different welcome message.

I created an email action with a trigger onAfterUserApproval when I approve a member through the back end the user receives the email two times.

They're probably receiving the original approval email plus the email you configured. Sending an email on that action will not stop CBs email from sending. I believe you can stop CBs email from sending by emptying the approval email subject and message language strings. It then may only send the email you configured in CB Auto Actions. Never tried this so no guarantee that's going to work.

No idea, maybe it's supposed to fire more than once. Try the onUserActive trigger.
