I have an interesting issue on a test site. J2.5.16 CB1.9.1 CBS3.0.0
One of my test Admin users (currently with Super User permissions) reported:
"I was testing front and back end access today with the 'Maria' log in and successfully accessing member records, making payments, setting password etc.
However, using the same log in, it is now saying "TEST3 Society of Australian Genealogists has 0 registered users" when I try to search in the front end, even though I can see their records in the back end.
These records in the back end however, have lost the data from the "Private" and "admin" tabs - ie all of the contact and membership details."
My investigation reveals:
1. The comprofiler table is now empty save for the above user's record (see attached screen shot) - other tables that I have checked appear fine
2. The CB User Mgt tab shows all the users but as Unconfirmed and Pending Approval - and when viewing their profiles, all the CB fields are empty, and the user shows as Confirmed and Approved
3. I cannot login to the front end of the site - presumably related to the CB Login process dependence on my having a CB user profile
4. Checking the CBSubs History Logs shows that the test user above expired a large number of users yesterday (she was not aware of doing so) - and the Error Log suggests error notices have been reported yesterday and before yesterday - see three attached screen shots)
5. Running the last three CB Tools (screen shots attached) identifies one or more DB problems, including with the status type of a CBS field being varchar rather than char
6. To build membership mgt reports I had relatively recently being using Fabrik on this test site which does have the capacity to change field data types so this has to be one possible culprit (me that is, rather than Fabrik).
I am thinking I need to restore the site to my last backup, and may well have done that before you reply to this, but I would be interested in any further information/thoughts you can offer. (I will probably use the Fix option on the CB Tools first, but am not expecting any miracle restore of the missing data. Also I suspect that simply trying to restore the comprofiler table would not be wise as the restored table would not be in sync with other site data.)
