[SOLVED] No Group and no membership allocate after registration

10 years 9 months ago - 10 years 8 months ago #240358 by zahmundzornig
I´m migrate Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 with CB 1.9 and CB Subs 3.0

After a long migration journey I´m in testing-modus.

I have a problem with the registration process of new user.
After registration-process the plan defined group and the plan itself aren´t allocate to the new user (please have a look at the screenshots). The system takes the Joomla Core Group instead of the CB Group. But the CB- and Core-settings are correct.

I tried this with a brand new plan, build up in the new 2.5 version.

Any idea where I have to search for the correct setting?

www.zahmundzornig.de thanx joomlapolis for the great work and support!

Is your plan free lifetime? If it is then ensure free lifetime plans create subscriptions within CBSubs > Settings > Global.

Yes, there are lifetime plans. I checked this issue and the settings are correct.

Registration settings
- Show subscription plans at registration: yes
- Allow Free Registered Users (without subscriptions): no
- Create Subscriptions also for free lifetime plans: yes

I migrate the settings and the plans from a working site (1.5).

The uprades site runs under a subfolder: www.domain.de/jupgrade3
Could this be a problem? I think no, all other features works well.

Ensure the CB Paid Subscriptions plugin within CB > Plugin Management has public access. Next ensure the Subscriptions tab in CB > Tab Management is public and published. It's possible your migration has caused an issue somewhere as Usergroup and View Access Level mapping is all lost during migration.

The CB > Plugin Management has public access,
the Subscriptions tab in CB > Tab Management is public and published.
I checked all other plugins and tabs, there are no more unpublished or unpublic items.
I reduced the plans to one basic plan and reduce the tabs and field on the nessessary items (username, password, email).
I installed com_comprofiler and cb_subs one more time.
I made a Joomla upgrade from 2.5.14 to 2.5.17

I have still the problem that after registration CB don´t save the subscription and the right user group. What´s working is:
- registration
- Login
- Go to Membership-Tab/Menu
- Manual "upgrade" for a membership

I have no more idea. What´s going wrong?

Are you using CB Auto Actions? If so try disabling it as perhaps once of your actions is conflicting. The only reason at this point for it to not give a subscription is if there's an error (please check CBSubs > History Log) or something is interrupting the process (acting on after registration trigger).
