Language override not working

Language override not working was created by carin
I put _UE_REG_COMPLETE_NOAPPR_CONF in the front end override part in the Joomla backend but after registration still the misspelled version of the CB original language files show up.

You put it where exactly? CB language strings are translated within CB language files only, which you can find below.

components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/

_UE_REG_COMPLETE_NOAPPR_CONF is only displayed after a frontend registration that requires both email confirmation and moderator approval.

All chages done here components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/ are lost on the next update, so I certainly dont do that.

We do not use Joomla language usage. Placing translates in Joomla won't do anything in CB.

All chages done here components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/ are lost on the next update, so I certainly dont do that.

You need to install and translate the English language plugin, which you can find below.

Thanks for the hint, but what do you mean by "translate the English language plugin"?

I only want to change the German wording for _UE_REG_COMPLETE_NOAPPR_CONF in the German language plugin. And I want to do that in a way that it does not get overridden on the next update.

but what do you mean by "translate the English language plugin"?

Please see your documentation for translation usage information, which you can download from the Advanced downloads section. In addition to the documentation the below has language usage information.

I only want to change the German wording for _UE_REG_COMPLETE_NOAPPR_CONF in the German language plugin. And I want to do that in a way that it does not get overridden on the next update.

Then you need to install a German CB language plugin and edit it then change the language string _UE_REG_COMPLETE_NOAPPR_CONF to whatever you like.
