Hello - I have set a field to "Not-required," but when people try to register on the site, it tells them the field is required.

I have 3 conditionals setup on it, and I've also tried to set it as "Required" - because for one group it IS required, but set it so that if a person chooses "Yes" on the conditional, then it is not required.

No matter what I do - the field STILL shows up as "Required." Can you tell me what I may be doing wrong?

Thank you!

I have 3 conditionals setup on i

That's probably the issue. Only the last conditional really matters. Be careful with conditioning the same field multiple times. Disable all conditionals except the one to mark it as not required then see if issue persists.

Just an idea, an optional plausibility check for conditionals would be nice ;) I´ve stepped into that trap multiple times today, too. Suits me well for conditioning fields multiple times :p

Conditionals always act independent of one another. It's planned to have AND/OR implemented at some point, but for now they are independent of one another. Also each field under the conditionals will tell you what is conditioning it so you can easily see what fields are conditioning a fields self.

I don't understand that at all...why have several tabs for conditionals...if they aren't usable?

They are usable, but you need to be careful how they're used. Since you can have conditional self and conditional other on fields you can use both of those at the same time comfortable as 1 conditions the fields self and other conditions other fields.
