I'm setting up a new site using HTTPS on all pages and whenever I try to login using the CB Login module, I get a "403 - Forbidden: Access Denied" message.

My site is on a Windows platform and I'm using Joomla! v3.2.3 and CB v1.9.1

I've got other sites on the same server working fine under HTTPS, but they are running Joomla! v2.5.11 with CB v1.9.1

Does anyone know of, or can anyone suggest any obvious things to check that I might have missed?

This is a fesh install and the only other plug-in installed is Akeeba backup 3.10.2

Many thanks

Dave

If your site is already forcing HTTPS through Joomla or htaccess you don't need to set CB Login to force it as it'll automatically be used. Also ensure your live_site within your Joomla configuration.php is either '' (blank) or doesn't begin with a protocol (start with //, not http://, etc..) so it can be dynamic (recommended to set as blank).

Thanks for the reply.

I checked and the CB Login is currently set as "same as page (default) and "$live_site" is also currently set to '' (blank).

So I'm still stuck I'm afraid :-(

So CB Login module is not set to force HTTPS? How are you forcing HTTPS?

Hi, thanks for the reply.

The site sits on our own internal Windows server and we have setup a URL rewrite from HTTP to HTTPS.

As I mentioned, it's working fine on other sites using CB on Joomla 2.5. It's just not playing fair on this new site using the latest Joomla! 3

Hope this helps
