[SOLVED] possible Bug report: Some users cannot change their profiles.

Hi guys,

I have a possible bug to report. I have reported it already but the topic went astray and I hoped that it would be limited to my computer. Seems that it isn't (see topic www.joomlapolis.com/forum/153-professional-member-support/226846-cb-does-not-want-to-let-me-change-any-fields-on-my-profile-from-front-end-anymore?limitstart=0 ).

I have turned on all reports to maximum and have never gotten an error. It does not only happen to admins but also to normal user (I have got the report of one user that is a website developer that his doesnt change either, no other reports received).

Could we solve it? What information do you need?

Joomla version? CB version? If on CB 2.0, have you updated to latest nightly build below?

Have you updated your plugins in accordance to our compatibility chart below?

www.joomlapolis.com/cb-20-addon-status

Have you tried disabling non-core plugins 1 by 1 to see if that resolves it?

Hi Kyle,
I had indicated in the previous topic (I had copied/pasted the link) what Joomla and CB versions I have.

Latest Joomla version: 3.3.6

CB: 2.0.2

It is a live site so there is no point for me to integrate the late night build community builder if the fault is not even located...

Also, I have turned on reporting and it shows no errors... The website even says that it has saved (however it has not).

Are you using CB Conditional or CB Privacy? Both can zero a field on POST to stop saving. Have you tried disabling them if either are installed? Disabling non-core plugins 1 by 1 is the first step to debugging what could be conflicting.

Hi Kyle,
Nope I am not using CB conditional. I have installed CB privacy today only and the problem was there already longer (I had thought that it was only down to my computer...)

Please PM backend super administrator login credentials as well as credentials for a profile that has this issue and will take a look.
