CB Content Menus???

Im using the CB Content Module to display The CB Menu Tab by using "[cb:usertab tab="17" user="#displayedOrMe" /]"

It works and displays the menus correctly. I would like to add more menu items to these menus. Can I do that???

For example it shows.....

I would like to add a new custom menu item under "Manage Connections".

Only way to add new menu items right now is through API. CB Auto Actions has a CB Menu specifically designed for doing that. There are plans to extend CB Menu with a backend to easily add new menu items, but for now it's API only.

Is there any documentation on how to do it using API? Or can you tell me the steps involved?

No, you'd need to review CB Menu plugin if you wanted to use the API. Alternative is to use CB Auto Actions and create a CB Menu action. If you only want to add 1-2 menu items that can be done by editing the "Menu" tab within CB > Tab Management then under Parameters you can configure a few menu items.

I tried testing the CB Menu Parameters. Is there a way to order where you want to place the menu item? And is there a way to add an icon like the built-in menu items?

I don't think the auto action will work since I don't want this menu item to link until the user clicks on it.

No, not with the parameters. It's just for adding very simple menu items.

CB Auto Actions has an action specifically for adding new menu items to CB Menu. Sorry, don't understand your reason as to why it wouldn't work. Example configuration as follows.
