Probably been asked a bazillion times but not able to search out the results.

Installed the myCommunity template and want to replace the upper left image with our logo. Used Photoshop to scale an image to 300x156 uploaded it using the media content manager and selected it as the logo in the template manager.

When it displays though its totally not to scale and completely cut off.

How do I change the logo in the left corner of the header in the myCommunity template?

Edit the My Community template within Extensions > Template Manager then under the Advanced tab set "Text/Image Logo" to "Image" next specify the URL to your image within "Image File Location". The image should then be added as a background image using CSS and its width set to the same width as "Left Sidecolumn Width (px)". Aside from that I can't help any further without a link to the issue so I can take a look at the CSS to see if there's a possible conflict or bug.

The URL of the site is www.redwoodrvowners-dev.com . You can see the image in the top left is not scaling properly. I did as you suggested in the template manager.

TIA

Ok, I see the issue. Make the below change and it should display fine.

IN: templates/mycommunity/index.php
ON: Line 140
FROM:
Code:
#logo { background: url(/"<?php echo $imagePath; ?>") no-repeat 5px 5px; width: <?php echo $leftcol_width; ?>px; }
TO:
Code:
#logo { background: url(/"<?php echo $imagePath; ?>") no-repeat; background-size: <?php echo $leftcol_width; ?>px auto; width: <?php echo $leftcol_width; ?>px; }
