[SOLVED] Author can't select Published state when creating a CB Blog

9 years 4 months ago - 9 years 4 months ago #266035 by kerry.kunzli
I am clearly missing something. Administrators can see and change the "published" state when creating a new CB Blog but Authors can not. I have tried setting the category "Edit State" set to "allowed" but the Author user does not see the "Published" selection box.

Without this, the Authors cannot save a draft of their entries.

Thanks for the help.

Do you have blog approval enabled? If approval is enabled then the user can not change the published state.

Hi, I have approval as "disable" so that's not it. This is on Joomla 2.5. Is there a permission setting I'm missing?

I have tried Editor and Publisher settings for a user with no success either.

Ensure "Published Display" is set to "Enable" within CB Blogs > Parameters > Defaults.

That option isn't there so I must be backleveled. The only options are for Category and Access. CBBLOGS 4.1.1 is what I have. I have found the link to download but don't see anything newer than 4.1.1
