[SOLVED] No access to site was created by dick_kaas
The registration is setup for admin approval first. The e-mail has been confirmed, then all options set to green but when logging in on frontend 2 message comes: Warning: not allowed to see private part of website and error: login to view or edit your profile.

Ensure the profile views access level within CB > Configuration > User Profile is set to something the user can access. Also ensure the Joomla menu item to CBs profile page is public and published. Please also download and read the CB 2.0 Primer Book for further configuration information. We also have the below videos for getting started with CB 2.x.

I moved from J 2.5 where everything was working fine to 3.x incl the admin approval. Everything you mentioned is setup correctly and i also viewed the CB 2.0 Tutorials - 03 - Registration and Approval Workflows video

Are you able to actually login? Does the CB Login module show you as logged in? If it does your issue could just be an incorrect login redirect URL within your CB login module. Try clicking the menu item to navigate to your profile and see if that's working.

Navigate to System > Global Configuration > Permissions and ensure "Site Login" permission is set correctly for registered users. By default it should be set correctly, but if you altered the core usergroups the permissions may have broken. Your issue could also be from a 3rd party Joomla User or Authentication plugin within Extensions > Plugins and may want to try disabling them.
