cb-connect problem was created by dtws2008
Hello,
installed cb-connect and acted according to the directions.I can see the fb button. All the relevant plugins are enabled.
After pressing the fb button I get this:
Failed to retrieve Facebook profile. Error: Unknown column 'fb_userid' in 'where clause' SQL=SELECT `id` FROM `pkzaq_comprofiler` WHERE `fb_userid` = '1666004083684010'

Indeed, no fb_userid field exists among my fields but cb_fb_userid is the FACEBOOK ID field. This name of course can't be changed. Any idea?

the above is not relevant now.
but after replaced the cb connect plugin with cb connect 7 beta4, I constantly get the following error:
'HTTP client error: Failed to connect to 2a03:2880:1010:3f02:face:b00c:0:2: Network is unreachable.'

cb_fb_userid should not be the field. It should be fb_userid and is created when CB Connect is installed. Please ensure you've installed CB Connect 7.x Beta and have read the below thoroughly.

Please read the topic carefully. Ensure you meet the requirements outline in it. Also ensure you've configured it exactly as instructed. If you have a firewall on your server you may need to make output/inbound exceptions as CB connect is unable to reach the social sites servers.

Thanks.
All the requirements mentioned in the topic are met.
regarding firewall ports, according to my hosting provider I need to buy a dedicated ip in order to enable my account to have opening outbound/inbound ports. Is that what you mean?

It's due to Facebook endpoint using IPv6, but your host does not appear to support IPv6. See the below forge ticket as it's a known issue. A workaround is planned for next beta release after GJ stable is released.

forge.joomlapolis.com/issues/5423

See the below topic for further details.

www.joomlapolis.com/forum/153-professional-member-support/230591-5423-facebook-login-error#267907

I don't have a workaround at this time as I've yet to have time to get to it. After GJ stable is released I'll look into releasing another CB Connect build to address this issue as it'll need IPv6 switching to IPv4 when needed, but I don't know if that'll even work since Facebook uses an IPv6 endpoint now. See the below that explains it further.

stackoverflow.com/questions/11004624/failed-to-connect-to-2a032880101f03faceb00c026-network-is-unreachable-fr

You may need to contact your host and have them enable IPv6 support.
