One think makes problem, the image - management. The dialog in Parameter / Avatar we do not understand. The dimensions are on the backsite-parameters absolute different what we see on the front. Can you give us an instruction? E.g. Logo, canvas and standard show 86 to 500 px in frontend they are 210 px. Changes in backend donot influence.
Look please on - now it looks ugly

What should we suggest the Communities when they wantload up pictures
Vdeos: our groups (all privates) have own videos and want not to load up to foreign providers, they would like to load up into their group. We respect this. What you can offer for this need?
best regards
BTW: you promised a new handbook for GJ end of last month - where to get?

May I invite you to change the 200 pictures, and to write to the communities to do this?

I assume you migrated from a previous GJ release (2.7)?

If the install was migrated from GJ 2.x the thumbnail sizes were probably set very small resulting in blurred images. Changing those settings does nothing to existing images and requires re-uploads.

I would suggest to create a test group and upload new logo image for that group and see how it looks. If the result is still blurry, you would need to change the logo image size parameters in your GJ -> COnfiguration area and upload again until you are satosfied with the result.

I agree this is not the friendliest process, but for the moment there is no alternative other than manually doing this for each existing group.

Well, video files tend to be large in size and will be affected by php file upload parameter. First priority was to have videos stored on youtube.

I have opened a ticket #5638 for future consideration.

I remember mentioning but not promising ;-)

As Kyle is currently on his well deserved vacation I have stepped in to assist with support forums, so my documentation and video tasks have been delayed.

We have done and uploaded the pictures in the Communitys and new one, on the life site. Taking your GROUP Logo as an example for the category pictures, size. They looks unclear. A declaration would be helpful.

The main group page will use your regular size canvas and logo images that you uploaded.

Depending on your template layout the canvas image may have to be stretched to fit the fiven space (e.g., if you do not have a left or right side module on the group page you will have more space for the canvas and thus will need a wider canvas image).

The group summary page listings have a different format (square image sizing) and will use the canvas thumbnail and logo thumbnail images.

I will be discussing with Kyle better size default proposals in order to avoid any image stretching.
